Muhammed Nadeem Farooq

President  & Chief Executive  Officer

Nadeem is a seasoned professional having diversified expertise, in the Oil & Gas Industry, in Senior Management roles for 15+ years. He has a proven record of excellence in managerial finance, corporate finance, governance, acquisitions, restructurings, accounting, tax, investor relations, negotiation and relationship management with excellent communication skills. Nadeem has served as the CFO of Spud Energy Pty Limited since 2008. Nadeem was also CFO for Jura Energy from 2012 until 2017, at which time he became the CEO of Jura Energy.

Akbar Kazmi

Director Operations
Akbar has a Private Equity, Investment Banking & Corporate Finance background with 20+ years of experience across diverse industrial sectors in Pakistan’s economy including Steel, Glass, Power, Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Cement, Textiles, Telecommunications, Infrastructure and Ports, Chemicals, Sugar, Real Estate, FMCG, Iron & Steel, Media & Entertainment, Advertising, Transportation, Aviation and Financial Services. Akbar has demonstrated success in setting up new businesses, negotiations, turnarounds, business growths, audits, exits, managing partnerships and relationships, dispute resolutions & litigations, fund raising and managing third party capital. He has overall experience and capability of managing full business cycles in various sectors.

William (Bill) Famulak

Chief Operating Officer

Bill has 25 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of equipment for the oil and gas industry. He has been President of KESI, an engineering and design firm operating in the petroleum sector, since 2013. Mr Famulak also served as Vice President and Operations Sponsor of Kocken Energy Systems, a manufacturing company serving the oil and gas industry, from 2005 to 2019. Prior to 2005, Bill worked as an engineering and project management consultant for various large multi-national companies, all of which were dedicated to the design I manufacture I installation I startup of oil and gas processing facilities.

Asif Malik

General Manager Operations
Asif has over 30 years diversified experience in Petro-Chemical plants designing, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance. He worked with Dewan group from 1990 to 2010. Prior to Spud Energy Pty Limited he worked as VP Operations & Engineering from 2004 to 2010 in Dewan Petroleum Pvt. Limited where he was responsible for providing direction and leadership to the Operations, Engineering and Project teams. He conducted feasibility study, designed, supervised and successfully executed the field expansion projects in collaboration with foreign EPC companies. He also planned scheduled, prepared work scope and executed annual turnarounds of various plants. In addition, Asif also worked with SPEC Oil and Gas as Director Projects between August 2017 to December 2018 where he successfully managed various projects, specifically PPL Ghambat South gas processing plant and Khyber Refinery projects.

Country Manager Pakistan
lmran has diversified experience in Legal, Commercial, Finance, Taxation, and Joint-Ventures with 10+ years in the Oil & Gas Industry. He has been the Joint· Venture & Business Development Manager for Spud Energy Pty Limited & Frontier Holdings Limited (JS Group Companies) since 2011.
