All AEML equipment is designed in accordance with the strictest requirements and globally recognized standards including, but not limited to:
A selection of the software, used to carry-out designs mentioned above, are summarized as follows:
Our Procurement Department works hand-in-hand with Engineering, Quality Control and Scheduling departments to ensure that procurement decisions are made considering all requirements, not just price. A points-based bid evaluation system is followed to ensure that all purchases are made without bias and in a professional and ethical manner.
AEML performs supplier evaluations, in real-time after every purchase. When a noticeable decline in supplier performance is noted, we share our supplier evaluations directly with said supplier. This uniquely transparent approach ensures that our vendors maintain quality, price and delivery in accordance with our strict and ever-evolving demands.
Since procurement plays a key role in the progress of the project, AEML mandates that both the Procurement Department and the Engineering Department expedite all purchases. AEML’s expediting process begins prior to issuance of the Purchase Order (PO), through considered selection of reputable suppliers with proven track-records. The process is carried on, post-issuance of purchase order, with weekly supplier communications and, when applicable, visits / inspections at the suppliers’ facility. Contingency plans, for critical path items, are developed prior to issuance of POs rather than in the moment when perceived problems may occur. Materials transport and, when applicable, final payment arrangements are made prior to the goods being ready for shipment. This approach ensures that there is no lag between completion and subsequent order release.
AEML maintains 100% material traceability for all aspects of all projects. This process starts when the materials are received at the AEML facility. Quality Control carefully reviews the documentation, of all incoming goods, prior to considering it received. Once received, a material traveller is created for each item in the warehouse. Material releases are controlled and recorded through the travellers as well as recorded on the manufacturing drawings (when applicable). All documentation is maintained up-to-date, in real-time, in AEML’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
Our team of more qualified workers ensures timely completion of even the most demanding projects. A fully tooled machine shop, complete with Plate Rollers/Pedestal Drills/Mag-Drills/Circular Saw/Band Saws/Lathes/Threaders, serves our field crew in real-time from start through to completion.
The field equipment we use includes, but is not limited to:
All AEML Engineers have extensive field experience including installation supervision, pre-commissioning, commissioning, on-site acceptance testing (OSAT), troubleshooting, plant optimization and debottlenecking. AEML will assign a senior Project Engineer that has participated in the project since its inception at the preliminary design / quoting stage, to ensure commissioning and testing is completed in the most efficient and safe manner thereby ensuring successful start-up.
Hands-on interactive training is performed during on-site acceptance testing. In special cases, and at our client’s request, we also provide classroom trailing. Every training program, be it hands-on in the field or classroom training, or custom tailored for the type of equipment, the specific operating conditions and the skill level of those being trained.
Comprehensive operating manuals, developed specifically for each project, serve as the ideal training material.
